I have eventually found another kite skier in town, Morten. We headed up to Le Tour and tried to head up the Le Tour glacier thinking that we could climb a short way onto it and then use kite power to head up further. |

Morten didn't have approach ski's or snowshoes though and as you can see the snow was reasonably fresh so it was taking far to long to do the hike. |

We ended up catching the lifts up to the Col du Balme, and walking over past the restaurant (which has the most ridiculously poor lift access) and into Switzerland. |

Morten's kite needed a bit more wind than mine so it stayed on the ground and he had a go on the frenzy. |
