I had my best day flying my Ozone Frenzy yesterday up on the Argentiere glacier. I had to skin over from the Bochard as the top lift at the Grands Montets was shut. The map shows the route in red.

It was a bit tough to work around a set of crevasses at the beginning as they pushed me onto the edge of the glacier where the wind wasn't so strong, and was a bit rough. After passing them though I managed to cruise with ease up the glacier. I tried to head off up the Glacier du Tour Noire but the wind was coming across the ridge on the left at the bottom and was too messed up to get a decent pull in the right direction. I tried for quite a while and got a god pull here and there but then I'd hit a rotor and the wing would get all twisted up. I had to properly re-lay it out and re-launch a couple of times.
So I changed tack and headed back up the Argentiere Glacier. In the past I have only been up as far as the base of the Col du Courtes so I decided this time to head right up to the end. It was a good ride. The slopes at the far end got quite steep but I managed to work it up them. It meant that I got to have a look at the Amone Couloir as well which is on my tick list of skiing descents. I ended up at 3140m so a climb of 590m Not bad.
