Here is my kite skiing playground. If you look really carefully in the bigger picture then you can just see the kite, and get some idea of the scale of this playground. Once the crevasses in the background fill in there is nothing to stop you heading over to the Helbronner or the Col d'Entreves. |

It started off quite windy so I dropped down into this bowl to try and stay out of it a bit |

But had gone to far out of the wind and had trouble working my way back up into it. |

Getting dragged really slowly. |

Eventually I managed to work my way up onto the flatter upper area. |

And pick up a bit of speed at last. |

Still not enough snow to ski down so we had to skin back up. |
